Virginian Pilot article for the Uniquely Yours David Tutera VIP Cocktail Event
To top of an amazing weekend with such a great article in the paper was totally a cherry on top moment. Did anyone get a chance to read this article? How great was it!!! Uniquely Yours is excitedly jumping for joy ( literally I am right now ) that so many of our vendors had the opportunity to be featured and have all their hard work recognized!! Thank you to Pilot writer Krys Sefansky for spending that Saturday with us all to gain inspiration for your article, it turned out simply fabulous. Just in case you missed out on this read you can go and read it on Hampton Road’s website. Take the time to check it out, my little blurbs can’t do it justice. This article really helped showcase all the hard work and time so many people put into the Saturday night VIP event with David Tutera, and it was great to see that he also recognized this as he spent time with everyone and saw their work. I got spend a lot of time with him that weekend and he mentioned that sometimes he really dosen’t know what he is walking into as far as the events he speaks at and engagements he attends, and I believe he was truly impressed with what the Hampton Roads vendors had to offer in the creative talent area. And it showed that day with his reaction to the decorations and ideas.

One of our favorite quotes is… “And then Tutera bestowed the ultimate compliment on the hovering professionals: Let’s do a couple of “My Fair Weddings’ here. We have the vendors.” Doesn’t that just taste good in your mouth. Or I guess since your reading this, music to your ears. The article continues on the talk about all the preparations that went into that day and many of the vendors that were involved.

Tutera spent almost an hour with our vendors that morning, taking time to look at everything they had done and give them compliments and ideas(as well as snapping more then a few photos with everyone).
This was the first year Uniquely Yours added another event onto the Showcase weekend. Giving another chance for the vendors that sign up for the showcase a chance to show their stuff and work with one of the greats in the event planning and wedding world. After the great success that was that weekend we really feel like the sky is limit for next year’s showcase “weekend”. Who knows what we’ll pull out of our little wedding world magic hats!? So make sure you stay tuned and don’t miss your chance to be involved next year with the most spectacular wedding across Virginia!
